    The picture I posted of Audie Murphy's M1icon Carbine was the rifle brought to the National M1 Carbine Display in B'ham Alabama by Dr. Durham of the U.S. Army Historical Center in Carlyle (sp?) Pa. He had to drive to Ft. Stewart in Savannah Ga. to bring it with Gen. Omar Bradley's Paratrooper to display. I have no reason to doubt it was Audie Murphy's rifle. It took me a year of negotiating and close to $1800.00 (expenses) to get Dr. Durham to bring it for display. I don't think it was a misrepresetation, but you guys are experts and know everything. I have learned a valuble lesson on sharing information and pictures of my events. "DON'T"
