    Now YOU DID IT. After reading the above post I went to Gunbroker and bought a Repo mount for my scope/mount less Indian No4T. NO originals available anyway. I can't even find out what it had on it. Now what repo scope to use. The rifle is a correct T reworked by RFI in 1962.action No4MK1/2.S/n 1173. It has a scope number on stock "1456". Goes deep against my grain. So be it. Thanks, Gary

    This question will show you what I know about Enfields But, I believe the receiver would have to be drilled in order to use these mounts, right ? Jack

    This rifle already has pads installed by H&H.. Who knows what the Armory in India did. Regards, Gary

    Do you plan on a No32 or do you want a affordable clone? The Weaver K2.5 does not look bad on an Enfield, that's what I have for my clone T. A Lyman Alaskan would be nice, more money though. You can find both on evil bay, I see some near new condition K2.5's
