I figured the NZ 1781 was possibly a unit marking for New Zealandicon, but been looking throughout the net and could not find any info. The knob on the bolt handle is actually drilled similar to the what I have seen on the jungle carbines. Also the cocking piece is marked N67 MkII. I have not seen this handle type on T's before nor this marking on any cocking pieces of rifles I have looked at.
