    Sounds like it's on the level. I must have missed the part on your original post about the rifle not having the scope or mount. I advise being really careful if you plan on re-snipering that one. Original early mounts and scopes are pricey, and if you get reproduction kit, you may ruin the rifle or stock trying to get a proper fit. As is, that rifle is very, very collectible and desirable as a part of both Finish and Sovieticon military history. Your rifle, but I have to point out that if altered, it will lose a lot of value and collectibility. Getting the proper scope and mount also depends on the type it was originally set up for. Most Finn captured snipers had the the top mounted PE/PEM scopes, with a few later war side PE snipers.

    Are the mounting holes on the left side of the receiver, or are there three holes on both sides of the front of the receiver? Pics please!

    Its top mounted with the six holes. I will get some pics uploaded as soon as I can. My PC got hacked the other night and have been trying to clean it all up the last two days.
