I bid on it up to 1700
I have a S'G' stock that is real and would make most drool, so I would need a leaf for the sight. I can say that I paid 2100 for a original S'G'.
So is a leak worth $400 ? I guess that was my choice as it was my money.
An original inland is $1300 to $1800 for a nice one and they made several times more carbines. The stock on the auction, as is, could go for 350 or so on e-bay. I don't think that the price was crazy, I just reached the top of my gun budget, so I stopped bidding.

I'm not knocking anyone for buying it but the seller could give no info as to what it had for parts other than what the pix he sent me showed, and they showed it was pretty rough on the outside. I'll give you a heads-up if I ever decide to auction my S'G', from the looks of this sale I'd say I "stole" it.
