Back with a better looking scope and more photo's.
I have gotten request for photos of the scope mount so here they are.
Hope to try it out tomorrow. Took it out last Friday, but couldn't hold
zero with that monstrosity of a scope that was on it before.
Scope is a old Weaver K4 with Weaver low rings.

Thanks for the great pictures documenting your scoped '17, Trickster.
You'll have to let us know how she shoots.

I'm working on a similar set-up. I already have the S&K mount, and a 1960's Weaver K4-60B post-and-cross-hair scope is on the way.

Right now I'm trying to find a set of rings that will work with the S&K on my Eddystone. Found that a classic Weaver Sure-Grip ring like yours interferes slightly with the Eddy's sight ears at the rear of the mount. Same is true with Leupold PRW rings.

I'm hoping that a set of Burris Signature Zee rings or Weaver Grand Slam rings, which are not as bulky, will install without interfering with the sight ears.

    Edited to add:
I ended up going with a set of Burris Signature Zee rings, the only rings I could find that would fit without touching my Eddy's sight guards where the ears begin to sweep up toward the back.
