Cheek Piece Screws
What are considered the correct cheek piece screws for a BSA, 1944 No4 MkI(T)?

Straight out of Peter Laidlers and Ian Skeenertons book
An Armourers prospective : .303 No 4 (T) sniper rifle and the Holland and Holland Connection
Cheek mount screw were as follows: Wood screws.
1 1/4" x No 8 front
1 1/2' x No 8 rear
Steel or brass screws were both acceptable.

Unplated (no zinc) steel are, by far, more common, it seems...

Yes, both steel & brass screws were approved, but I've only ever seen steel in practice. Seems to be brass on Australian
Lithgow SMLE snipers though.
