Cheek rests?
Anyone know if anyone has made a walnut cheek rest for a M14/M1A
similar to the ones used on the No4 T's?

Yes, Griffin and Howe made them for the commercial scope mounting service they offered for the M1
. The cheek rest was custom fit for the shooter. I don't know if they still make them, I doubt it.

Thank you, I wonder what Griffin and Howe would want for one though.

Israelis also made one, if I remember correctly. Very tall and odd looking thing.
ETA found an auction w/ one- but the stock is painted w/ black crinkle nastiness. Don't think that's the way they came...

Good grief, how does "J the D" keep selling stuff for such ludicrous prices???

Now that looks like someone took a ugly stick and beat the stock.
