i bin reading posts and if i,am not wrong bubba is when some one alters the fire arm. i think i have a bubba 303 enfield with very little marking on it. i got it from 80 year old fela. he had it close to 50 years it was his hunting gun .i will take pics if theres any interest.but heres the markings there is. 0n the out side of barrel on top couple inchs were the tip of bullet would be it says SUSSEX on it. and on top again where barrel joins it says .303 2.22 19.3 Tons my be B or R not sure my be NP 7 on bolt were hand goes S 6105 below saftey where two woods join 1942 S6105 on top of flip up sight Mk3 and theres a coupl marking i cant make out. Bubba is the guy who takes a $300 milsurp and "improves" it, generally through the ill-use of hand tools like files, chisels and hacksaws. He excels in turning the $300 milsurp into a $150 "sporter".

Commercial conversions, like Parker-Hale .303 sporters are not considered Bubba's.
