    excellent work. you help me under my tula 1952r refunished sks a lot more. my weapon has a chrome barrel with a lam. stock. i think it was used i korea. returned and rebuilded. also the recieved a stock has the ref. mark. it is blued every where no paint and etc. i need to follyou history closer and read everything.

    eureka!!! got my 1949 from westrifle .

    its a refurb 1949, you can clearly tell the wood isnt original, the original SN has been sanded off and new SN restamped. they cut the groove longer with a hand tool to accommodate the longer spike.

    im glad they left the original factory marking, the inspection mark on the right buttstock and also manage to leave one mark around the crossbolt.

    top cover and trigger group has glossy black paint unlike the rest of the metal which is lightly painted black but textured, not bad looking.

    love the cruciform spike bayo.

    overall very pleased.
