I've used No4T's and L42's once or twice and must confess to have having been whacked. It is a right of passage on the sniper courses during the familiarisation shoot with a No4T or L42. I'm almost ashamed to admit that I let my son shoot one when he went out with the snipers for a stalk one morning. It recoiled, he yelped, learned a lesson and didn't do it again but made the group photo, complete with the gashed eyebrow
