Your rifle, from the description of the markings you provided, would appear to be a No 4 Mk 1 ROF(F) 1943. That translates to a No.4 Mk.I being made at the Fazakerley Arsenal in 1943. The "C" with the arrow in it on the handguard is Canadianand SL/74 indicates a British
sub-contractor which made small parts for rifles during WW II. Nice find and Congratulations. One question... is the a "A" after the serial number ?
