Enfield No7 Mk1 .22cal. trainer with an incomplete bolt?

The magazine is a standard BSA 22 magazine that has had the catch reversed, moved from the bottom to the top. Do not have one, so do not know if a "regular" magazine can be "reversed" easily.

The magazine is a standard BSA 22 magazine that has had the catch reversed, moved from the bottom to the top. Do not have one, so do not know if a "regular" magazine can be "reversed" easily.

I had seen BSA 'Sportsman 5' magazines advertised at up to GBP £100 so I actually bought a couple of Sportsman 5 rifles at £20 each, kept the mags and scrapped the rifles. - at least I've now got spare mags for my No7.

It is a standard mag with just the mag-catch reversed. Pics of modified and unmodified mags :
