I wouldnt worry about the slide, but try to stop the pitting on the barrel from getting worse with an oil coating and cleaning, get an early swivel..

I know. Sadly that is the only negative of the rifle. Supposedly that part wasn't covered in cosmolineicon. The barrell is nice and clean however. How would you clean it safely? What oil coating? I picked up an early swivel and II oiler. If my L739 Type V slide is correct should it only have PI on it? I am joining CC soon. Sounds like I need issues 339, 346. Any others for my carbine?
