If it was real it would have been on an IBM carbine but it's not real.

Notice there is no claim by the seller that it's original IBM, it's just marketed as a sight with FOB stamped on it.

Same seller is trying to get rid of a Type I band.
Look at the 2nd picture....
Does it looked cracked/split above the R stamp, near the top?
I believe it is.

Maybe he hit his "R" stamp too hard.
I asked about the FO B sight. His response:
