Hmm... OK then, how about the proper setting and use of volley sights to hit a target past 1500 yards? You could also include all the proper drill commands
I expect a thorough dispersion analysis of the bullet impacts too - anything less would be amateurish, don't you agree?![]()

Hi Matt,
Welcome from a rank newbie to Enfield collecting. Spent 20 years in the US Army Security Agency, retired in 1981 and had always been a Garand or M14lover. Now, at 66 and on a fixed income, I couldn't afford either and wanted something in .308 to use for shooting and maybe a bit of hunting if it ever becomes necessary to keep from going hungry
Bought an Ishapore 2A from AIM Surplus a month ago, and am still in the process of cleaning it up so it looks like a rifle instead of a paint bucket. Friend of mine here in Wichita saw it before I started stripping the spotty black paint off the metal, and showed up the next day with a cosmolene covered 1948 Fazakerly No. 4 MK I that is in pretty decent shape. He actually gifted me with it. From zero to 2 Enfileds in less than a week, guys, it don't get much better than that.
I'm waiting on the headspace gauges to get here for both the .308 and .303 from Brownells and Numrich so I can proof 'em before going to the range.
The info in the Knowledge Libraryhere has kept me from being a pest with newbie questions and all I needed was a pointer in the right direction from Badger.
Jeez- ya drop off the radar for a couple of weeks and come back to find the neighbourhood has gone to the pack!
I'll raise a belated glass to you Matt, a true gentleman, "should you never need to delete me"
Cheers, mate.
