    It was below freezing for days a week ago, and we even had a snow storm. (Over one whole inch!) -
    All schools closed, broken water pipes everyplace, and crashed cars lining the roads!

    It's been near 80F and humid this week, and like Dave, been running the AC some.
    (If you don't like the weather in Texas... just wait a minute!)

    Seriously, the warm humid air from the Gulf of Mexico mixing with the colder air from the North makes for some interesting sudden weather changes here in north Texas.

    I was finishing basic at Lackland in early Oct 1969. the day before we shipped out we had red flags out meaning it was to hot for outside activities but the next afternoon as I waited for my bus I was wearing my winter Blues and freezing my patootie off.
