help importing

Thank you for the information. I am hoping the US will see their way to allow an import. It will be difficult but I think I should be able to get it in on a C&R import.

I have been warned that many recent M41s have been denied import and the only possible reason I could figure out would be their ability to be easily taken down. They meet all other criteria otherwise.

Of course it could just be some guy at the ATF having a bad day.

Right now I am concentrating on getting it across canada.

I think you better check with them before you actually buy it and send money.

As Claven2 points out, I always thought that importing U.S. manufactured military arms back into the U.S. was prohibited. I think it's legislative and not something the ATF have the ability to interpret or override.

I think we'd all be interested in hearing how you make out, so please post the results.
