Thanks Badger, and I've done a bit of cleanup work on the old warhorse since the last trip. Found some decent wood and got it all properly installed after a bit of work. Applied a couple of coats of boiled linseed oilicon to hydrate and seal the wood. Followed the book and got the forestock properly bedded. Made up some handloads with 150 grain bullets and just used the starting charge of Varget powder, figuring to work up from there, but as you can see from the target pix, I think I'll leave it alone

Had to shoot this one at 50 yards 'cuz the 100 yard target area lights weren't working on our local indoor rifle range, but 5/8" center to center at the largest point even at 50 yards ain't too shabby. Might could get the group a bit tighter if I could see better. With tri-focal glasses, kinda hard to see the front sight and the target at the same time
