    From the pictures it is apparent that the serial number on the receiver is the same as on the bolt components. So why is the bolt not matching?
    Also that sight hood does not look like a sight hood. Some kind of cover?

    Apologies, I misread your pictures, upside down the "480" looked like "031" on the bolt.

    Is their a crown stamped on the barrel? Possibly over a "U"? I suspect your rifle is an east regman refurb, due to the blues buttplate and post-war sight hood. Such stamps would confirm that.

    Mauser

    Definetly a re-work, Czechicon or East Germanicon likely. Sight guard often seen on Czech. Replaced stock has no take-down disk. Very nice rework however. Figure either side of $500. Claven2's out of town, he'll know.
