I just acquired what appears to be a military item. It looks something like 2 45/70 cases (without rims) chained together with one a bit smaller than the other so it fits inside the other. The inside one has a slot cut near the end with a small mirror inside at an angle similar to one end of a periscope. I'm thinking it may be for examining a bore or chamber. It's marked Lauder Co. with 1916 under the name. It also has a Canadianbroad arrow stamp. Has anyone seen one or know anything about them? Sorry, I can't seem to master posting photos but could e-mail some.
