    Yes thank you. Thats amazing what people will try and pass off as a GI 03' thats correct and orginal.

    I'd like to recommend you find Lt. Col. Brophy's "The Springfield 1903 Rifles," to further your knowledge. You'll likely have to search a while to find a copy, as the book is no longer in print.
