Great idea, and thanks. I get lonely at my range: I'm about the only one who shoots milsurp. Everyone else shoots race-guns, or nearly so with a gi-gundo scope. I always attract attention with whatever I bring. It's very satisfying to walk downrange and realize that 60 year-old eyes plus 60 year-old rifle with iron sights (my favorite -- Irish contract Enfield) plus 35 year-old ammo (Greek .303) can almost outshoot the Hubble Space Telescope on the next firing point (I work at NASA).

Let me get warmed-up, and add to the fun.

    milsurp comp

I want to join the milsurp comp as I have never tried such a thing despite having owned US milsurps for years. Garandicon, 1917 and 1903 in thesafe now. I love the rules, they fit an antique shooter. I have ordered some B-17 targets as they seem to be the size specified.
Do I shoot for score or group and do I then send the targets someplace or do I post photos?

I am sure more questions to follow.
