This is "G. E. Fulton" is it not? When did the name change to Fulton & Sons, or whatever it was exactly (I forget)?
"Fultons" actually does trade under the name "G.E. Fulton & Sons" and, as far as I know, always has.

I have a feeling that the engraved style on RJW's rifle means that the rifle was owned or worked on by G.E. Fulton himself, rather than one of the shop staff.

The stamped Fultons logo appears on everything up until recently (not sure that they still do it), and probably is just the general work stamp.
