So let me get this right. What you want me to do is replace the current parker hale sight ramp, than install one that is lower in height and experiment with sight blades of differing heights??. What I could do is cut down the parker hale sight ramp about 3/16" of an inch in height. I have a set of dovetail files so could cut a new dovetail and then play with sight blades or beads to get my point of impact up. I plan on only shooting cast bullets so they normally shoot low anyway. Figured I'd have to use at least the 500yd setting to get the shot printing reasonabley high on the target. If I can swing it hopefully will be able to mount a rear adjustable rear sight. Don't plan on hunting with it as I have mobility problems with my legs and knees. Frank
