    Hi MGCollector, are you in the USAicon?I ask because it sounds like your guns are possibly rewelds, or you have got the serial numbers off the wrong parts. H7398 is a Enfield Mk1 (Modified pattern) from 1941, 4T8833 is a Canadianicon Inglis late Mk1m from 1942. Can you post some photos? The serial number will be found on the body, above where the locking pin fits.

    Hi Brit plumber,

    I am indeed stateside. My semi is a reweld, but my deactivated receiver is currently in ruins. I made a mistake and posted the numbers off the lower section. The serial number on my semi is 3T8081. It is currently being reblued, but I will gladly post a photo when I have it back. I will need to look at my torched receiver again as I may only get a partial since the person who cut it went nuts and took out part of the number.
