    Thanks Alan,

The No1 Mk V went for a good price, have my doubts if it was all original, or maybe someone did get a bargain? Anyone out there with a new toy? Find it strange one of them going to auction, unless the owner was oblivious to what he had.

The M1903a3 was what I was wanting to get down for and would say that was very fair price also.
As for the bits and parts, 2 x No4 mags £48 ? more money than sense I would say.

Apparently all of the Enfields and bits and pieces were from one collector who was giving up.
According to the auctioneer he had split his collection between this and the previous auction ( which I couldnt make) and there would no more stuff coming from him.
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

Does anyone know any collector selling up ? Last place I would be selling my collection (if I had a collection) would be scotarms, an easy way to get rid of all the crap in one go, but to put decent pieces through .....
