No4 Scope Options

Thanks paulseamus, but I think that by the time I factor in the 3000$ for the scope plus shipping and divorce it might be a little pricey, any suggestions on a less expensive option?

I would go along with the advise from Simon P, you can also get a similar mount like the Armalon one on ebay for a round $60 US, (all steel) then the rings and scope of your choice or budget, if your budget stretches then buy a PH sight also, then you have the best of both worlds and still have a rifle that you can return it to its former glory and will hold its price.

If you are set on a repro No4 (T) as Peter describes, then look out for a sporterized No4, plenty of them still about and the damage has already been done, look out for the bits and pieces over time to rebuild it and look out on ebay for a No32 scope, then follow his instructions too a tee and you cant go wrong, but please dont go drilling & tapping a nice 1945 No4 Mk1* LB if if there is nothing wrong with it.
