I didn't know that eBay allowed the selling of barrels now?
Is that a new policy?

Doug

I remember when Epay blocked a charger/clip of five rounds of FIRED .303 cases!

They have changed the policy I think, things such as barrels etc can be sold but only within the USA
, there is a post or thread on the M1903 or the P14/P17 forum by Chuck in denver.

They [quietly] changed their policy a few months ago. It seems it was cutting into their profits.

Amazing how alleged principles are expendable by the anti crowd when money comes a knocking.

I have just been checking the "Swedish
Mauser" section on e bay and there is a complete bolt for the m/96 and a barrel for the m/94 carbine, both being shown as being able to dispatch outside the US including to the UK
, I don't know what customs will say if someone attempts to import pressure bearing parts without the correct paper work as these are section 1 items are they not??

They may be under the impression that because they are parts for an 1894 Carbine, the parts are considered antique and therefore not subject to import/export law. Just a guess, Either way they're WRONG! This stuff gives me constant entertainment considering I spend half my life buried in the paperwork required to do these type exports.

I have sent the seller a message to point out the error of his ways, it will be interesting to see how this one progresses. I hope ebay's greed does not make life even more difficult for those of us who play by the rules...
