That's EXACTLY what I mean. That's why the military stopped "training" with .22's after WWII. Turns out .22 was nothing at all like 30-06. Huh. Imagine that. Having said that piece of sarcasm ; ) ........ .22's are loads of fun and of course cheap to shoot. But I can pick up a nice Winchester for a fraction of the price of something on an AR platform. I guess if you absolutely love all things .22 then go for it! Lord knows I've spent more money on things that I'm sure I would be ridiculed for. Like my cat sweater collection. Kidding.... Kidding.....
