Watch the video - battle of athens
He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose
There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.

Mike -- CIB and 29th Inf? Pretty historic!
Bob,
I joined the 29th ID in 1992 after 4 year of Active Duty Marine Corpse.
I had a number of years doing the normal 1 wekend a month and 2 weeks a year.
Then off to Cuba for a nice all expense paid trip to the caribbean

A couple of years at home and then off to Iraq.
On my first mission my unit was hit so I was awarded the CIB for that action. Then after 6 months in country we were issued the 29th patch to be worn as a Combat Patch.
Plus I like the history of the Division since a large portion of it is right here in Virginia.
Sorry for the ramble,
Mike
