You are correct to assume that you will need more elevation. Not sure of the zeiss specs but most scopes run out of elev adjustment at about 700-800yd or so with the 200smk. A scope with mildots may allow hold over. I shoot a similar rifle, a Brno 98/22, good throat, bore, crown with 200smk and Varget (near max load). The rifle shoots moa at 100, 1.5moa at 200, but really opens up at 550yds. I tried to shoot 600 but the scope I had at the time failed and I have not tried again with my new scope; bushnell 10x40 mil. I use it on sillouettes and it only hits 5-6 out of 10 rams. Rams bodies are no more than about 2 moa high, and I am going over and under alot. Also my rifle starts to shoot low as it heats up. 1 moa at 1K is 10" and the 10 ring may be a challange with that cartridge. Not sure if the 200smk is even super-sonic still at 1K. Best of luck.
