Help Identfying the WWII USGI Rifle Case

The full auto collectors ended in 1978 or 79. No full auto collectors since then. If you have them you can have them. You can't shoot them. Same as the converted auto's such as ex full autos changed to fire semi only. All grandfathered. Our laws aren't the same set up as yours. Nothing we can do about it. We're lucky the long gun registry was dropped. Now our 10-22s and Winchester 37's and the like don't have to be registered anymore. The real good days are well behind us. The young these days don't know what they missed.

(All this was spouted without trying to say anything political. And without being too specific.)

Unfortunatly I am in that group of "young" people, though I do know a few guys with Class III permits and I shoot them in a semi-regular basis.
