Left hand should be wrapped tightly around the small of the butt in order to control the gun. I can see and hear it now...........

'.......................number 4 on the firing point, you're holding that gun like a fxxxxxg nancy boy.............. Get hold of it properly or I'll stick it up your a...., er....., bottom and make you the biggest lollypop* in existance

    * Lolly-pop. For all you foreigners who don't speak proper English like wot we do. A sweet on a stick that you stick in your mouth and suck until it's gone

I tried that left hand on the small of the butt bit as like it says in the Britishicon training manual but I could not get the gun to stay where I want it to.

I sort of miss those days...when we spoke directly like that.

Maybe underhand would do it. Fingers together and pointing back at your shoulder on the outside of the butt. I too tried to use overhand but my cheek bone doesn't allow me to get past my knuckles. OR, you could get the handle and butt combination to hold it the way it was designed. I'm sure Peter can locate one in his store...somewhere.
    Regards, Jim
