There are a few of us on this forum in the same boat Mr E, you also forgot the top handgaurd, barrel band, and spring retainer.

You have more chance of finding the Holy Grail, than original parts, but you can get reprodution parts, the fore-end and handgaurd are made to order, the nose cap I,m still waiting for a drawing for this, so in the future I can get some mchined, there were a few repro,s about but they have all gone.

I can copy parts if I had an original to copy from. I can make the nose cap by casting them in a sand mould. The wood I would just try and find a stock malker who would make copies or if there was enough demand I could buy the machine and make some and some long lee stocks while I am at it
I have 3 rifles to restore an 1896 LE 1 and two 1898 LEC 1's that are of the canadian variety

I have some pics of the work he does, will try and post them here he has spliced numerous LEC and Long Lee fore-ends, but also makes the LEC from scratch.
