I suppose this is the best place for these photos - has anyone ever come across Lee Metford or Long Lee forearms that where fitted with inlays along the barrel channel to reprofile them for the No 1 Mk I?

I came across this while cleaning a bubba'd forearm and hadn't remembered reading about this obviously arsenal-grade recycling trick.
