Unless the picture is distorted from top to bottom, the RLB stamp, at least, is a fake. Too "tall". Coincidentially, there was another Remington for sale on the CMP
forum with the same type marking.

That's really what also my friend was thinking, of possible fake cartouches.
Fullstops are missing too and I think also the rectangle around the three letters.

The "RLB" inspectors mark is definitely counterfeit. Some of the others are very unusual. The serial number range is a little high for a lend lease based on the ones I have experience with. One of the more studious guys may elaborate on the lend lease serial range. Here is an example of the correct inspector mark from one I have in the 3,051,000 range...
