    Quick update: rifle is now what I would consider restored. I'm going out to test the bedding and sight it in with the aperture tomorrow.

    It and my as issued '42 Longbranch in the last one there. Just awaiting a nice Canadianicon buttplate then its basic form is finished. Range testing tomorrow then I will decide if it deserves that scope in the background. If it does I'm off to learn how to solder properly then onto building a jig then time to get the files out and fire up the drill press. Things are coming together.
