I read somewhere that there was a couple of years that 5.56 LC brass couldn't stand
up to the stresses of reloading for the AR15 platform. I wish I could remember where I read it but it has been awhile. Does anyone know if this is true and what dates might be involved?
Thanks,
Bexar

I've never had any problems reloading anything except the Chinese brass. The tolerances of the inside measurements for Chinese are too far out of whack...all the rest seems to be OK.

Some of the LC brass was loaded hot and the primer pockets expanded to the point a new primer would fall out. I do not know the range of dates on the brass or if it's still the case. I have been using some LC brass from the early 80's and it's fine.
