Top information thank you all. I'm going to a small bore rifle class tomorrow with my No.2 Mk4 and they use slings (GI pattern). I'd prefer to use what is tradish with and Enfield. This makes it much easier to understand.

For range use don't forget to try moving the rear swivel forward. Probably more useful for target use. But you don't need to be at the range to try the various set-ups. Pull the bolt out and practice at home!
