    Hi partner ...

    Nice looking rifle ...

If you want to have some fun with the cup dischargers, here's a great "fun" video in The Screening Room (click here) section of the Milsurp Knowledge Library.

It's a range video of members engaged in The Great Canadianicon Tennis Ball Challenge competitive match at Milcun, using WW1 Enfield Wire Wrapped Grenade Rifles and Dischargers (click here).

Make sure you turn ON your speakers and turn the volume up to hear the sound effects !

There's also another Knowledge Library entry on WW1 Enfield Wire Wrapped Grenade Rifles and Dischargers (click here), showing close up pics as well as instructions on how to use them.

    Hope this helps ...

    Regards,
    Doug

H.O.H.: Nice- I'd like to find one of these too. Pretty sure it's a .303 from general appearance- magazine, sight, etc don't resemble 2A1 (ie. the 7.62 NATO). I believe Ishapore also manufactured some .303's quite late but it looks older. Any signs of it being a refit of an older gun?

1964 and no FTR markings so I suppose not.
Passed on it Saturday not knowing enough about it to make an intelligent decision and thinking if it was ment to be it would still be there. While researching here and other forums Saturday night I came across a very similar looking rifle on another forum. I jotted down the serial number and returned with a bit more knowlege Sunday and what do you know. Same rifle.
    Small world we live in.
