41 longbranch
on the hinged band, where would be the correct location (if there is one) for the longbranch stamp? I have one that has the longbranch stamp on the right side and the Canadian
government stamp on the left. Am wondering if this is a knock off or legit as most I have seen (in pictures) show the stamp on the left side. This is assuming the screw goes left to right.

Have you got a pic of yours that you could post here for everyone to have a close look at?
Thanks ..

If it's hinged, has the right sort of finish, and any LB stamps, I wouldn't worry. AFAWK no one has tried to replicate these and frankly, why would they? There can't be more than a few thousand Long Branch MkI rifles left now and we don't even know if all of them had hinged bands.
What's the best offer you've had so far?

There are repros out there. The way to tell the difference is that the originals are machined, the repros are stamped.
