    I believe the Gen 2 adapators have a "waffle" pattern on the sides as opposed to the smooth finish of the Gen 1. Both are made of the same polymer.

    Thanks for your reply Stevo, are the Gen 2 adaptors better or just different. I would prefer to buy the "best" one if there is a difference.
    Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

    No personal experience with them, just what I've read on the internet. The Gen 2 are supposed to be stronger, but I've never heard of either type breaking.
