Thanks for the replies. After I sent Doug the pictures my son found a article on this site but that star had a "W" in it and it doesn't appear this one does. I am also curious about the mark after the 1* as with a little imagination it looks like a "R". I am not sure if I am correct on that and if it is a "R" what significance does that have? I have not seen the gun, was sent the pictures by a friend who knows I have the Lee Enfield "addiction".
The wood for this gun is missing however all the metal including bands, screws are with it.
My question is if worth the effort for me to rebuild it or should I let it go as it is not different enough as I have a couple of pretty nice LB's?
Just was sent a email that the gun is marked C A, CanadianArsenal and not C broad-arrow.
