    Hey Parashooter, I just realized I learned the "O ring" trick from your post ".303 headspace 101" I found it googling when I first started reloading for my Enfield awhile back....

    You are again mistaken, WarPig. I have never advocated using costly O-rings when a simple piece of discarded fishing line will do the trick at no cost.

    Years ago George Nonte wrote a book on Cartridge Case Conversions. He suggested using wire rings to hold headspace while fireforming. Recently I used the wire from grocery store twist ties to hold the case back while fireforming 8 x 56R Hung. cases to 8 x 58R Danishicon Kragicon in a Swedishicon rolling block. There are several ideas here. Find what you need for the job.
