    How did you find out? My gunsmith told me. TC should have got the word out....

    My son rec'd a message from Cabellas as that is where he bought it. We still had the Long Gun registry at that time and they would have a record that he bought it.

    I think it was in the first "range" of guns as my son has a very low serial number. I have never checked out to see if my .223 is in the recall but since the trigger adjustment screw is SOLID I called and they left a message to send it in. To be honest I just haven't bothered to but should do it soon...LOL

    The recall is about two years old IIRC.
    Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?
