    The stock is probably a replacement, if there is no serial number. The rifle that I posted pictures has a regular military sight - the rear sight has an O'Hare rear sight cover.

    What specifically does the "plack" say? What person and what unit? Depending on who it is, that could raise the value of the rifle significantly. Without that, and given the stock is probably a replacement - maybe in the $2000-2500 range.
