Never heard of anyone blowing up a Tokarev even with hot Czech SMG ammo.Can't say the same for the CZ52.

Just the opposite of what I've heard. I've shot the Czech SMG ammo out of the Czech pistol. No dramas.
The pistols are probably about as good as each other in the real world. Individual examples will show more variation than a blanket comparsion of the two types. As for feel, that's very subjective! Try one of each before purchasing.

I have experienced cz52 failures. non catastrophic roller lock damage. No failures with the TT33. it is still issued. I shoot all issue ammunition. Prefer Chinese.
