I have done as much research on these as I think can be done. Very limited info and most folks who claim to know Mausers think these are G33/40s when they first see them. No crests are common, Politie marked carbines are Dutch Police rifles as were mostly all produced in this configuration. Morrocco, Dutch East Endies, Egypt, along with multiple South American countries received these but not many were produced. They will beat you up a bit when shooting and I could not imagine shooting one in .30-06. Mine is in 7mm Mauser and still isn't much fun to shoot but it sure is cute. Is yours single or double broach cut in the receiver as that will determine the model. Double broach cut being M1950.
