    Unscrew the screw, lever locking and the spring followed by the lever and safety catch. Now try loading and firing. If it all works then, it indicates that the problem lies somewhere within the locking lever and safety catch. It's called fault diagnosis where you eliminate one problem, then the next and so on until you find it

    I have removed the parts and the action still works without the parts.
